It’s something I really enjoy doing, even in my spare time. It’s a polyamorous relationship between my love of illustration with love of typography and love of graphic design.

Non Fiction. Made for fun. I was trying for something reminiscent of 2001: A Space Odyssey. Made in 2025

Rejected book cover mockup. The final would have been illustrated with the people more androgynous and a splash of purple. I liked the idea of the title to be part of the storytelling, sort of like it was being whispered by the two characters, but the client wanted the title bigger. I don't think a big, bold title would work with this design. The spine is too thin as well, I hadn't received the final size of it when I made the mockup. Made in 2025.

Rejected book cover mockup. This one focused more on the title. Combining a lot of lgbtq+ flags and colors. The client was more into the idea of an illustration like on the other mockup. It's a bolder choice than the other two mockups. It's busy but that's the idea, because all the pride flags are very busy. Lips are illustrated by me.

Also rejected idea mockup. The client found it too plain. I pitched it as a more budget friendly option just in case the client wanted that.

Made for fun. A cozy magic read. Something like Practical Magic. Made in 2025

A different version of the cover. I wanted to try to design the same elements and colors in a different way. The pink magic effect would look good printed with glossy effect. Made in 2025

Made for fun. I'm thinking it's a fantasy thriller about women born blessed by the Fire goddess and pursued by the Church of Ash. The typography is handmade by me. Made in 2025.

An ages 9-12 fantasy novel, the Casket of Time by Andri Snær Magnason. It was made as part of a group show where we redesigned the covers of our favorite books. In retrospect I think the layout could have been better on the front but I like the colors and typography. Made in 2018
